What Ascenta Wealth does

Living abroad makes money more complicated. Pensions in one country, savings in another, tax rules that change depending on where you are and where you'll retire. Ascenta Wealth exists to make that simpler.

The firm offers long-term, fee-based financial planning for expats in Singapore, with advisers who are qualified in both Singapore and the UK.

Financial planning

A clear, personalised plan built around your goals and life stage.

Wealth management

Investments managed in line with your plan, priorities and appetite for risk.

Retirement planning

Planning for retirement in Singapore, back home, or somewhere new.

UK pensions

Specialist advice for UK nationals and anyone holding a UK pension.

Protection

Insurance and planning to protect you and your family against the unexpected.

Cross-border advice

Guidance for finances that span more than one country.

Who they work with

Ascenta focuses on individuals and international families living in Singapore, particularly British, Australian and Indian clients. They work with UK nationals and people with UK assets, anyone of any nationality holding a UK pension, and those planning to retire in the UK or abroad. They also work with accredited investors.

One of their key strengths is continuity. Expat life often means moving on, and Ascenta's planning relationships are designed to continue wherever their clients relocate.

How they're different

Ascenta was founded by three partners who felt the traditional expat financial advice model wasn't serving people well. Too many expats, they say, end up in rigid financial products that perform worse than leaving the money in the bank.

Their answer is what they call Lifestyle Financial Planning. It starts with your life, goals and aspirations, then builds the financial plan around them, not the other way round. Their guiding principle is simple: their relationship is with you, not your money.

What they do

  • Get to know your hopes, worries and goals first
  • Bring clarity to complex financial decisions
  • Act as a trusted guide for major life decisions
  • Help you avoid costly mistakes
  • Manage your money the way they'd manage their own

What they don't do

  • Manage investments without a clear plan
  • Try to predict short-term market moves
  • Promise high returns with low volatility
  • Change your investments based on media headlines
  • Recommend anything they wouldn't do themselves

Meet the team

Ascenta is led by three partners, supported by financial planners and a client services team.

Why we're proud to feature them

At SCA, we believe in assessing before you act, building a plan around the person, and reviewing it as life changes. Ascenta brings that same thinking to money. Different fields, same belief: the best results come from a clear plan and a long-term partner.
